Portable and Mobile Vehicle Exhaust Extraction Units
Portable and mobile units pull exhaust off the tailpipe without a permanent install. You roll the unit to the bay that needs it, connect, and clear carbon monoxide and diesel fumes out of the work area.
We match the unit to the vehicles you service and the way your shop runs, sourced across multiple manufacturer lines instead of one catalog.

Where Portable and Mobile Units Fit
Portable and mobile units earn their place when a fixed system does not fit the building or the work does not stay in one spot. The unit moves to the vehicle instead of the vehicle parking under a permanent drop.
| Where you work | How a portable unit handles it |
|---|---|
| Single-bay shops | One unit covers the bay without the cost or footprint of a permanent install |
| Overflow and occasional-use bays | Roll it in when the bay is busy, store it out of the way when it is not |
| Leased space with no install allowed | Capture exhaust without modifying the building or running fixed duct |
| Truck and diesel bays | A larger wheeled unit handles the higher fume load from heavier vehicles |
| Anywhere the work moves | Position the unit behind whatever vehicle is running, wherever it sits |
Shops running a mix of light and heavy vehicles get the most flexibility here, since the same approach serves a service bay handling cars and light trucks and a fleet shop working larger equipment.
The Units We Carry
We carry two units, split by the vehicles you work on. One is built for cars and light vehicles, the other rolls on wheels for trucks and larger equipment.
| Unit | What it suits |
|---|---|
| Portable unit for light vehicles | Cars and light vehicles up to 3.5 tons, where one person moves the unit by hand |
| Mobile wheeled unit for heavy vehicles | Trucks and larger equipment above 3.5 tons, with four wheels for moving the heavier unit around the shop |
Both units connect to the tailpipe through a hose rated for the heat your vehicles put out, so gas and diesel both stay captured at the source. We set the hose and connection to match the work, then back the unit with the manufacturer’s warranty.

Why Order From RWA Ventilation Solutions
Most suppliers sell the one unit they stock and hand you whatever is on the shelf. We carry multiple manufacturer lines, so the unit gets matched to your vehicles and your shop instead of the other way around.
We look at the vehicles you service, how often the bay runs, and the space you have to work with, then set the unit, hose, and connection to fit. One person on our team stays with the order from first call to delivery.
Our engineers have specified ventilation since 1882.
Every unit carries the manufacturer’s warranty.
