- Big City Delivery: Deliveries to downtown or congested urban areas may incur additional costs due to limited access.
- Remote Area Delivery: Deliveries to remote locations may incur additional charges to account for the added transit time.
- Residential Delivery: Deliveries to residential areas typically require a liftgate truck and may involve additional fees.
- Redelivery: If delivery is attempted but not completed, redelivery fees will apply. The carrier does not automatically reattempt delivery without authorization.
Damages and Shortages
- Visible External Damage: Document any visible damage on the freight bill or receipt and have it signed by the driver upon delivery.
- Concealed Internal Damage: Inspect the equipment immediately upon receipt. Report any concealed damage to the carrier within ten days.
- Shortages: Notify us within three days of receipt if there are any shortages.
Important: Always inspect freight upon receipt. Document any visible damage, take photos, and notify the delivery driver. You may also refuse delivery if the equipment is visibly damaged, and it will be returned to the manufacturer.

Bitcoin Mining FAQ – STXB Upblast Exaust Fans
What CFM capacity do I need from an STXB upblast fan for a 2MW Bitcoin mining container operation?
For a 2MW mining container, calculate approximately 15-20 CFM per kW of power consumption to maintain proper temperatures. This means you’ll need 30,000-40,000 CFM total exhaust capacity. A single STXB36 or STXB42 model can handle this requirement, delivering 28,000-33,000+ CFM depending on static pressure conditions. The upblast design ensures hot air is discharged vertically away from the container, preventing recirculation that could reduce cooling efficiency.
How does the STXB’s static pressure capability handle long ductwork runs in warehouse mining facilities?
The STXB’s ability to generate up to 2-3/4″ w.g. static pressure makes it ideal for warehouse mining operations with extended ductwork, intake filters, and multiple bends. Unlike axial fans that lose performance quickly under static pressure, the STXB’s centrifugal design maintains consistent airflow even with restrictive installations. For every 100 feet of straight ductwork, expect approximately 0.1-0.2″ w.g. pressure loss, which the STXB easily accommodates while maintaining target CFM rates.
Can STXB upblast fans be speed-controlled for variable mining loads and seasonal temperature changes?
Yes, STXB belt-drive models are compatible with VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) speed control systems, allowing operators to adjust airflow based on ambient temperatures and mining load variations. During cooler months, reducing fan speed by 20-30% can significantly lower energy costs while maintaining adequate cooling. The belt-drive design also allows for pulley changes to permanently adjust operating speed for different seasonal requirements or facility modifications.
What mounting considerations are critical when installing STXB fans on mining container roofs?
STXB upblast fans require proper structural support due to their weight and wind load considerations. For container installations, reinforce the roof structure to handle the fan’s operational weight plus wind loads. Position the fan to maintain at least 1.5 times the fan diameter clearance from walls or obstructions to prevent air recirculation. The upblast discharge pattern requires adequate vertical clearance – typically 10-15 feet minimum – to prevent hot air from being drawn back into intake vents.
How do I calculate if an STXB upblast fan will prevent hot air recirculation in high-density mining operations?
Calculate the upward velocity at the fan discharge using the formula: Velocity (FPM) = CFM ÷ (Fan Area in sq ft). For effective hot air rejection, maintain discharge velocities above 2,000 FPM. The STXB’s centrifugal design concentrates airflow, typically achieving 2,500-4,000 FPM discharge velocities. This high-velocity upward discharge, combined with proper fan placement (minimum 10-15 feet from intake points), ensures hot exhaust air rises well above the facility before dispersing, preventing thermal recirculation that reduces cooling efficiency.
